Our golf shop is committed to making you a better player.  To that end, we have developed a menu of custom fitting services designed to improve your golf game, regardless of skill level.  We use the most advanced diagnostic technology and tools available to help us identify the best equipment for your unique swing.  But more importantly, our staff is sincerely interested in improving your enjoyment of the game, particularly through better play, and they have the desire and know-how to make that happen.  And that’s our golf shop’s edge!

Our relationship with you does not end when you leave the shop; conversely, we view this simply as the start of our golfing relationship.  We want to hear back from you about how your new club’s perform on the course; we want to learn more about how you’re hitting your new clubs, providing us with the necessary feedback we need as club fitters to make certain that you’re getting the maximum in performance from your equipment.

As a practitioner of custom fitting, we know from experience that your game will improve after we custom fit you for a set of clubs that matches your unique swing characteristics.  Our methodology helps us to select the best club models, including a personalized set make-up, enabling you to maximize your game’s potential.  A custom fitted player can expect to drive the ball further and straighter, with more control.   And, we’ll fit every club in the bag, from the putter to the golf ball, to get you playing the best golf of your life.

So how do we do it?  At our golf shop, it all starts with a solid foundation in club building.  This provides our club fitters with an insight into how various golf club makes and models perform under varying conditions.  Armed with this knowledge, we then researched and invested in the best technology to help us understand, and quantify, the unique subtleties of an individual’s golf swing.  Combining these two disciplines with the desire to make you play better is the key to our success.

There are numerous quantifiable and measurable characteristics in any golf club.  Given our “club builder’s” understanding of these “inherent traits”, we are thus favorably positioned to accurately analyze your unique golf swing during a custom fitting session.  For example, the average golfer may understand the concept of shaft flex, but few realize that a golf club’s head will experience what we call “droop” when load is applied to the club during the downswing.  The fitting element we’re referring to in this example is known as “lie angle testing”; some golfers swing the club steeply, while others swing on a flatter plane.  What’s key here is that we want the lie angle of the club head at impact to be perfect; not toed up or down.  A lie angle test is one of the most important fitting elements when fitting for irons.

Over all, during a custom fitting session, you will be fitted for:  club length, lie angle, shaft flex, swing weight, shaft weight, shaft torque and grip size.  We’ll examine, and can recommend along with your input, the best models & set makeup from any of the top club manufacturers.  Depending on which of our custom fitting services best matches your budget or interest, a variety of technology and tools may be used to complete our assessment and final recommendation.
